Been Robbing His Employers
A Self-Confessed Embezzler.

Wellington, This Day,
An inquest on the body of Edward Brassington, who was found dead in tho Commercial Hotel on Monday morning, was held yesterday afternoon. Deceased had been employed as a book-keeper by a firm of manufacturing chemists. His salary was £3 per week. Defalcations to the extent of £120 wero admitted by the deceased in a letter he had written to the manager of the firm.
Arsenic was found in deceased's bed room.
As an analysis of the stomach had not been oompleted, the inquest was adjourned.
