Carterton I. defeated Greytown 1., on Saturday, by 167 rims. Carterton, who made 167 in their first innings, put up 150 in their second (E. Becchcy, not out, 49; Smart, 45). Greytown, with 77 in their first innings, only made 73 in their second (P. Rogers, 19; N. Madsen, 15 ; H. Hawke, 14). The English team of cricketers, who have just finished their tour, played IS m itches, winning them all. Too list is as follows :— Auckland, .yon by innings and 129 runs. Taranaki 18, won by nine wickets. North Taranaki IS, won by innings and 103 runs. Wanganui 15, won by eight wickets. Manawatu IS, won by innings ami 130 runs. Hawke's Bay 15, won by innings and 198 runs. Wellington, won by ten wickets. Wairarapa 22, won by innings and 81 runs. Marlborough 22, won by vine w;ek._is. Nelson 18, won by innings a ,d 80 runs. Westland 22, won by five wickets. Canterbury, won by 133 runs. Otiigo, won by innings and 230 runs. Southland 15. won by seven wickets. South Island, won by innings and 130 runs. South Canterbury IS, won by 124 runs. Now Zealand (at Christchurch), won by seven wickets. New Zealand (at Wellington), won by an innings and 22 runs.
