To-day's Shooting.

There was a light wind from the left, while the second squad were shooting at the 500 yds range in the Nelson Match. Many shots went to the left of the targets. Hyde (Opaki), with a possible yesterday afternoon, only scored 32. McKenzie was top scorer with 6S. Hyde and W. Ballinger 67 each, King (Opaki), 64. At 700 yds the wind was very battling, and seriously interfered with the scoring. Ballinger, who up to then maintained the aggregate, quite broke up, getting only 12 (sic.) out of a total 79. The highest scorer so far is Winslade (Wanganui) with 91, King (Opaki) 89.
