Pahiatua Stock Quotations.
Messrs Lowes and lorns, Ltd., report as follows regarding their Paliiutua stock sale, held yesterday :—Tho yarding of sheep was unusually large, all available space being crammed, and some had to bo oll'ered in the cattle yards. Ewes comprised tho bulk of the yarding, good sound mouthed sorts selling at good values. Those of medium class also found a market, whilst culls were neglected. Lambs elicited fair competition only, and but little business was done. Cattle sold at good values throughout, the demand being active, and prices fully maintained recent quotations.
