Messrs F. H. Wood and Sons, Ltd., report at their clearing sale at Gladstone on Thursday, on account of Mr A. J. Cooper, and stock on account of other vendors :—The attendance of buyers was large and representative, and bidding throughout brisk, with the result that every line offered sold, excepting ono toohighly reserved line of ewes and lambs. Horses'made £40, £33, £32, £21, and £17. Dry cows, £4 12s 6d to £5 10s ; yearlings, 55s ; springing heifers, £4 17s 6d ; Leicester rams, £2 17s 6d to £310s. Vehicles, implements, machinery, harness, etc., sold at satisfactory prices.
