MASTERTON TECHNICAL CLASSES ASSOCIATION.
Tho managers of the Masterton Technical School havo secured from tho Now Zealand Education Department, the loan of an interesting and valuable collection of examples of students' work iv some of tho various branches of art.
Tho collection comprises studies from life in oil and in black and whito, and oxamplcs of work done for the London and Houtli Kensington art-ccrtificato in ornament, outline, design, building construction, architectural drawing, and light and shade.
Ono of tho conditions under which tho loan has been obtained is that tho collection must bo placed on freo exhibition to tho public of Masterton, and as tho arrangements for this purposo are now completed, tho public arc invited to inspect tho works between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock on Saturday evening.
Itcsidonts who have not as yet become members of the Association may rectify tho omission by handing in thoir names to the secretary, who will be in attondanco during the hours specified.
Tho collection referred to above is ono such as is seldom seen in an up-country town, and its exhibition will doubtless be the means of infusing fresh vigour into tho study of tho various branches of art in Mastorton.
