Tho City Engineer sent in a report to tho City Council, last night, disclosing the fact that tho dam of the Wainui-o-mata water-supply rcsorvoir is in a condition calling for attention. Tho concrete is of exceedingly poor quality, and in ono placo where the earth embankment was temporarily removed the water finds its way freely through a concrcto wall ranging in thickness from cloven to fourteen inches.
