Tho overhaul of tho steam collier Duckonfiold was just completod whon tho forewator gaugo blew out, and tho stoam rushed into tho engine-room. The second onginoer, Bobinson, escaped with sovoro scalds ; but two boys, named Freund and Lundy, wero cut off and wero found dead, tho latter being horribly scalded.
