Caktekton, This Day. Larrikins have been in evidence hero, and street lamps and the Town Clerk's window have been broken.
Mr A. Mutch, a recent arrival, intends having a brick building erected in Pem-broke-street.
A beam fell on Mr M. Jones on Tuesday, at Kokotau, while he was engaged in carpentering, and severely injured his shoulder.

Carterton, This Day. The price of meat has been risen, by one butcher, a half-penny per lb.
The induction services of the Rev. Mr Bates, Presbyterian Minister, yesterday, were largely attended. There was a social in the evening.
