{By Telegraph—Special JoDaily Times). Featherston, This Day. The usual fortnightly meeting of Loyal Unity Lodge of Oddfellows \WT~ held on Monday evening. Bro. Th Jordan, P.P.G.M., was appointed Deputy for the Lodge at the special District Meeting to bo held noxt month. The, Secretary reported a credit balanco qf MS 19s 2d. Accounts amounting to £24 10s were passed for payment. After the ordinary business, Lecture-Master Bro. M. B. Tait advanced severa'} brethren of tho order to various degrees, At a meeting of tho Physical Training School, hold on Tuesday ovoning, the Secretary reported that subscriptions amounting to M6Q had beon received towards the building fund, and that tho nett proceeds from the Water Carnival amounted to M 3.
A ladies' match in connection with the Feathorston Golf Club has boon arranged for this afternoon.
The condition of the unfortunate victim of the railway accident on Monday, is reported to be slightly improved.
