{.From our own Correspondent.)

Church concerts in Alfredton being well sustained. Tho local performers were assisted by Mrs Mathicson, of Ekctaliuua, and Key. Wyndhain Eaiee, of Masterton, tho latter of whom found the demands of his audience well-nigh insatiable.

The following was the programme:— Part I.: Pianoforte solo, Miss Beresford; song, "Beautiful Isle of the Sea," Mr Percy; song, Mrs Galbraith Wratton ; song, "Sleep on, Dear Love," Mrs Mathicson (encore " Beauty's Eyes "); song, "The Mariner's Guide," Rev. Wyndhain Earoo (encored); recitation, "Obedience," MissE. Rutherfurd. Part ll.—Pianoforte solo, Miss Boresford; song, Mrs Mathicson (encore, " I couldn't, could 1 ?"); song, "Whisper and I shall hear," Miss Wratten (encore, " The Link Divine "); song, " Tho Lily of Laguna," Rev. Wynilliain Eardc (double encore); recitation, Miss E. Rutherfurd (encored); song, "Killarney," Mrs Galbraith Wratten (encored); song, " The Liner," Rev. Wyndhain Earco (encore, "The Sailor's Life "); " National Anthem."
