BREAKDOWN OF A STEAMER.
(Received January 1, 11,10 p.m) Adelaide, January 1. The shaft thrust block of the German steamer Souneberg broke when outward bound from hero, and the vessel drifted about for ten days. She was in a perilous position on a lee shore when picked up by a tug, which towed the disabled steamer to Brisbane.
