Another fearful tragedy has occurred in this colony, the third within ouo week,

From St. George, a town 380 miles south-west of Brisbane, on the Balonne river, word has been received that a Mrs Goward and her son, aged seventeen years, were found murdered in their beds, both having been shot through the head,

In a paddock adjoining tho house tho body of Miss Goward was found alongside that of her lover, a man named Snow. Both were dead, their throats'having been cut.

It has been ascertained that Snow was the perpetrator of the shocking affair, having murdered the mother, daughter and son, and then committed suicide. [Received January 5, 'J.SU a.ml.
