It was about time the Commissioners economised with leather passes, and it is about time these passes wero abolished, as ono cx-member openly boasted that his pass saved him frprr £7O to £BO per annum whil« iravelling on his own private businw. Nearly the whole of the Governor's family is down with measl's, and all 'Social functions for which invitations have beon issued ore, therefore, indefinitely postponed.
