' : ' 'fenders were received for metalling 8 chains ofaoad on the Castle Point line— J. Feringer, £3los per chain (informal) j Charles Peach, £3 10s—were considered too high. ' . ■: 1 Theoverseer was requested-to get the wojk done with the hotsb and cart belonging to the Board. Resolved—That in' the'absence of the Warden for No 7 Ward, the notice of motion standing in his name be postponed till next'meeting. Also, that the motion re a separate rate' stand over till next meeting., • , • . .., ~/ ' That the repairs required to the road in Black Swamp stand- over until the opinion of an engineer is obtained on the same. -V.
