EAST AND WEST WAIRARAPA COUNTY COUNCILS.
The meeting of the two Councils directed to be held for the election of a member to serve on the Wellington Harbor Board, wag held at the Wairarapa West Council Chambers, Carterton, on Monday, the 9th inst,, Crs H. Rl Bunny arid Pharazyn representing the East County, and Crs Pharazyn, McGregor, Moore, Minchin, Boys, Jackson, and Donald the West County. • On the motion of Or Bunny, seconded by Or Moore, Or Pharazyn having been elected to the Chair, read the conditions of elections, when Cr Moore proposed, and Or Bunny seconded—The.-election of Mr P. A. Krull as a fit and proper person to represent this district on the Board,
No other candidates being nominated he was declared dnly elected. _ --.Or Moore and others, in speaking to the nominatioii, referred to the extensive interests of Mr Krull in the district, and the excellence of his business habits, and that being a resident in Wellington He would have no difficulty in attending the meetings of tho Board, on which he had igrfeed to act as a member if elected. The meeting then adjourned,
