Snt—l quite agree Jvith-your correapondcnt's remarks in your issue of Saturday regarding the levels of streets in the iiorIn passing through Church-street, I observed that the levol of the footpath now in the course of erection will give a gradual ascent into the office of your joui nal, wliilst that into the office of Mr Bunny, in the same street, will cause a descent. I hope this up-and-down system will be taken into tlio consideration of the Borough Council, in order to prevent irregularities in the erection of buildings, by giving the levels for future guidance.
