CHAMPION OF CHAMPION SINGLES.

The South Canterbury champion of singles competition will be played on Saturday, on Park green, Timaru. The Waimate representative has been drawn to play in B section, and in the first round meets Fairlie (holders). Other clubs in the section are Kia Toa, Geraldine and Timaru. The Waimate Club’s singles championship has not yet been finalised, so that the Waimate representative to play at Timaru on Saturday is not yet known. Those left in the championship are T. E. Parry, A. Inkster and A. Wilson, and the winner will be decided by to-morrow.
