The Expert Committee on reparations in Paris to-day received the report of a sub-committee on the procedure to be applied regarding that section of the German annuities which is transferable in currency. It has been decided that a second sub-com-mittee shall be formed to examine and report on the system of payments in kind from Germany, in order to determine whether these should be completely or gradually superseded or whether other methods compensating for them should be found. —British Official Wireless.
ANGLO-FRENCH NAVAL DISCUSSIONS. LONDON, February 25. In the House of Commons, Mr L. 8. Amery, Secretary for the Dominions, informed Commander J. M. Kenworthy (Labour) that telegrams announcing the results of the Anglo-French naval discussions last year were sent to the Dominion Governemnts on July 30. Commander A. Bellairs (Conservative) drew attention to a Canadian statement that foreign Powers were in formed before the Dominions. Mr Amery said that there was a day between the dispatch of the telegrams. Commander Kenworthy: Did they ask for observations, or did you merely inform them of the result of the conversations ? Mr Amery: I think I stated that a provisional agreement ’ -'d been reached, subject to an agreement with al! the other Governments concerned.
