BILLS INTRODUCED
COMPULSORY EMPLOYMENT Ob EX-SOLDIERS.

LONDON, April 8.
A Bill, sponsored by seven Labour members, and obviously designed to meet the case of Captain Gee, has been introduced, rendering vacant any seat in the House of Commons, the member for which is absent for twelve months, without special leave of absence.'
Another Bill, introduced by exService members, including Mr Kenworthy, makes compulsory the employment of disabled ex-Serviee men.
The Act would be administered by the Labour Ministry and a committee consisting of employers, employees and ex-service men, with the right to fix special wages, though the standard rates should be generally observed. Employers failing to comply with notice to employ ex-Service-men would be liable to a penalty of £lOO plus £5 per man for each subsequent month.
