BOWLING CLUB.

THE EASTER TOURNAMENT. The annual Easter tournament this year should prove more successful than in previous years. For the first time since the tournament has been held full entries of sixteen rinks and thirty-two pairs have been received, which proves that this holiday gathering is becoming more popular every year. Entries have been received from Canterbury, Rakaia (3), Fairlie, Geraldine, Ashbury (Timaru), Anderson’s Bay, Otago, with several local rinks. The draw for the first games in both the rinks and pairs has been completed, and is as follows:— All rinks start at 8 o’clock on Friday morning.

Sub-Section 1: Finnigan (Canterbury) v. Sage (Waimate); Granger (Waimate) v. Gardyne (Ashbury). Sub-Section 2: Hinehcliff (Anderson’s Bay) v. Campbell (Geraldine) ; Robinson (Waimate) v. Cook (Rakaia).
