OAMARU SHOW.
WAIMATE EXHIBITORS’ SUCCESS.
SHEEP. The Corriedale judge did not give unqualified satisfaction, but that must always be the case in connection with a breed that has such brief traditions as the Corriedale so that no standard type has been set. There was a wide disparity of judgement between the Christchurch and Oamaru hows, and apparently the Storr s' Lype was not altogether compatible to Mr Johnston’s ideal, Mr. I. And'rew scoring at the Northern! breeders’ expense. The Moeraki Estate won the ram championship with a hogget that was second at Christchurch.. The best of the ewes was adjudged Mr Andrew’s older , ewe, Messrs Storey's champion Christ church ewe being unplaced. —English Leicesters.-—-
