DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS MEN. ADMIRALTY TRIES NEW SCHEME. (Per Press Association —Copyright.) London, May 13. The Admiralty announces that owing to the large reductions in the requiremenfe; u-i personnel for the Fleet aud val establishment general’-/, a large surplus of officers exists of certain ranks and seniorities. The total surplus is approximately 1835, of which 1429 belong to the e: eci tive branch.
