PURSUING SUSPECTS,
LONDON, Jan. 27
It is reported that the police are sending an officer in a fast boat to overtake the steamer Grampian at St. Johns. They sent a wireless canimnnication to the steamer. The supposed passenger aboard the Garmpian gave Ins name as George Rogers, Market Street, Huntingdon. It has been discovered that both name and address are false.
After visiting a solicitor on Monday Reeks remained in the hotel. Learning that Ramsden had gone to Leeds lie made a parcel of his pyjamas and brush, and did not return to the hotel.
The police traced Ramsden to Leeds hut he can throw no light on the tragedy. It is stated that Reek’s usual acquaintance met at the Liverpool Hotel The police are satisfied that they met on Saturday and parted on Monday.
