A VETERINARY SURGEON
WELLINGTON, August 2.
Mr Guinness interviewed the Ministqr of Agriculture to-day and asked that a veterinary surgeon' bp stationed on the West Coast.
The Minister replied that at present the number of vets, on the department’s staff did not warrant complying with the request; but that as soon as the staff was increased ho would favourably consider the matter.
