“MISS HOOK OF HOLLAND.”

As we anticipated a crowded house greeted the production of Miss Hook

of Holland” at the Princess Theatre on Saturday evening last. The members of Pollard’s Company always give a good account of themselves, and their ability was brought into play on Saturday night last for “Miss Hook of Holland” is not, generally speaking, the most successful piece that the Company have graced the footlights in. The Company were, however, painstaking in their efforts, and gave a faithful interpretation. All the old favourites maintained their share in the affections of the audience, and the dressing and mounting of the piece left nothing to he desired. General regret is expressed that the Company have had to confine their season to one night.
