ESTATE PURCHASED BY THE GOVERNMENT.
NAPIER, Sept. 2.— Government have purchased for closer settlement Duff Bros' Clyde Bank Estate at Wairoa. The property comprised 9000 acres within four miles of the town of Wairoa, on the Featherston road, and is admirably adapted for cutting up.
