NAPIER RACES.

The winter meeting of the Napier Park Racing Club opened yesterday, and fine weather was enjoyed. There was a large attendance. The sum of £5,389 passed through the tote, as compared with £6,343 on the first day of last winter meeting. Thirteen bookmakers were on the ground, seven out- ( side the enclosure at a fee of £10, . six inside at £20 10s. ( The following are the results: — !
