Blemjbim, Jan 28 The total for the 39th week of the New Zealand egg-laying competition was 1598, making a grand aggregate of 71,087 and a weekly average per pan of 15-89. The highest laying for the week was Miss Marjorie McCallum (Blenheim) white leghorns, 31 ; Aabworth'a silver wyandottts ( Alexaodra), 29; Htckman's brown leghcrns (Balcairn), 28 ; Steel, white leghorns (Picton), 28 ; Naumann, silver wyandottes (Napi(r) 28, The order of meiit in the grand aggregate is— Leger (Levin) 1,116; Brooks (South Australia) 1.017 ; Marlborough A. and P. Association, 996 ; Michael Shaw (Blenheim) 971 : all these pens being white leghorn?.
