Friday, December 14. notices of motion. By Councillor Tait, " That the following councillors form the Reserves Committee for the next six months, Councillors Turner, Benjamin, Kenny, and Tait." By Councillor Kenny, " That the word 11 additional " in my amendment on Councillor Turner's motion for the erection of lamps (Nov. 19) be crazed from the minutes being erroneous, and that no lamp be erected until this motion ia disposed of." By Councillor Cross, " This in lieu of the honorarium annually voted to the Mayor for his private use, that the sum of fifty pounds be voted for casual or emergent charity ; to be disbursed by the Town Clerk, by a written authority from the Mayor and a separate account be kept of this charitable expenditure." MISCELLANEOUS BT7SINEBS. j To nominate an analyst for the Go- ! vernor's approval and appoint an Inspector under the Adulteration Act, 1880, and Amendment Act, 1883. To nominate and elect one member of Board of Governors under the provisions of the Hokitika High School Act, 1883. To open and consider tenders for reslabbing and deepening well, corner of Stafford and Revell streets ; also, tenders for the supply of street lamps.
