Port Chaljmbs, July 10. The new dredge has already produced excellent result* on tbe bar. On Saturday there was a depth of over 19 feet at low water. Auckland, July 10. Arrived— Magellan Claud and Lirzie Guy, from Oamaru; Darcr Pratt, from Bunedin; Mary King and Advance, from Lyttelton. The ship Easterhill, Captain Evans, has arrived from London, 104 days oat. On the royage during a terrific storm John William Thomas, a seaman, was washed overboard and not seen afterwards. Ltttelton, July 11. Arrived — Luttervrorth, barque, Captain Pearson, from London, with 21 passengers; 95 days oat. Sailed— Penguin, for Welliogton; Wakatipu and Te Anau, for Port Chalmers. [bt cable.] London, July 8. The ship Loch Nagar, outward bound from London to the Bluff, has been towed into Dover, N.B. The cause is at present unknown; the telegram having been mutilated | in transmission.
