Cheistchdkch, December 20. A woman was opening a bottle of gingerbeer the other day when the cork struck her eye turning the ball completely over in the socket. Loss of sight will probably result. An inquest was held to-day on the recent fire |n Antigua street, but nothing was elicited. An open verdict was returned. The strike of compositors still continues. The men are using every endeavor to force the proprietors into compliance, but the latter are receiving assistance from all parts of the Cqlony, and th.ere is np likelihood of their submitting to the compositors' demandsV ~ ...-_--.......
