Dujstedin, December 20. W. J. M. Larnach is a candidate for the vacant directorship of the Colonial Bank, caused by the retirement of A. C,Strode, Messrs G. Clarke & Co., financial agents, have floated their ten per cent loan, for the Borough of South Dune.din, at a premium of 35s per cent. The casq p^Samuel Shaw v. William White, is of interest to farmers and other persons who have to do with reaping and binding machines. It commenced at this morning's sitting of the R.M. Court. Plaintifi claims £100 damages for loss of working bullock?, whose death he alleged was caused by their swallowing pieces qf wire which was in the chaff supplied to him by defendant.
