WEST COAST COPPER ORE.

Dunedin, May 28.

Dockefty and party have returned from Dusky Sound by the steamer Maori bringing two tons of specimens from the copper lode there. They broke some twelve feet into the crown of lode and report prospects exceedingly favorable. The specimens they have brought are very rich in the more valuable copper ore with indications also of native copper.
