There has been more inquiry for wheat during the last few days, but no trans* actions of importance. Quotations range from 4s to 4s 6d ; oats, 3s 4d to 3s 6d ; barley, 5s to 5s 6d for very good, very choice, 6s.
Mr Bradshaw reports : — Bank of New Zealand shares, £23 25,- Colonial Bank, £2 13 ; National Bank, £3 7s ; Standard Insurance, 235; National, 28s; South British, £3 15s ; Shipping Company, £3 15s ; Guthrie and Larnach's factories, £2 10s.
