THE WRECK OF THE ANN GAMBLES.
Invehcargim., May 24. An official inquiry into the loss of the barque Ann Gambles was held before the R.M. and a Nautical Assessor. The evidence of the captain, officers; the helmsman, and pilot was taken, and substantially tended to throw blame on the captain for rashness in attempting to make the port after dark without a pilot. The Board rescinded its decision.
