ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

The followiug regulations have been printed by direction of the Board of Education, as a guide to electors .— 1. The number of persons to be elected is seven. 2. Householders only are eligible for election, and must be resident within the school district. 3. The election shall be by ballot. 4. A Chairman must be chosen to preside at the meeting. 5. After the Chairman is chosen the outgoiug com»ittee shall give a report of their proceedings for the past year. 6. Outgoing members of committee may be re-elected. 7- The Chairman of the meeting shall have a deliberate vote and a casting vote. 8. Each voter shall be entitled to a number of vetes equal to the number of the committee to be elected. 9. He may give all the votes to one person, or distribute as he may see fit. 10. If any dispute shall arise respecting the validity of the proceedings, the decision of the Education Board shall be final. it
