Adelaide, Friday, Sept. 6. The debato on the land question has been again adjourned. It is supposed that it may cause a crisis. Mr Coglin's motion, to give work to tho unemployed, was withdrawn, no member having seconded it.
Monday, Sept. 9. The smelting works at Wallaroo have suspended operations, owing to tho scarcity of coal. The commercial news by the mail is generally considered favorable. The English advices havo strengthened the wheat market, and several orders in town aro not likely to be executed for want of tonnage.
Tuesday, Sept. 10. A disgraceful riot took place at the Port last night, owing to the reduction of wages of tho men employed by Messrs Dunn and Son. millers. The corporation has voted LSOO to entertain the Prince on his visiting the Townhall.
