A shipment of forty pockets of 1865 hops has been placed in a line at a very full figure. Sales of good ration sugai'3 have been made at L 26. Patna rice, in trade parcels, is quitted at L 24 10s. In liquids we note sales of tho Lion Brewery bulk stout at L 6 15s. The Trent Brewery Company's bulk ales met with buyers to a lair sxtent at up to L 6 10.-», according to quantity. A shipment of 800 cases of Maclien'h stout in bottle has been placed in a line to land, on private terms, but said to have realised a price fully sustaining the trade rate of 9a 6d required for smaller lots. We learn that 7s has been obtained for a parcel of 20 hhds. of Miirtell's old brandy. Kerosene oil is quitted at 2s for second brands, while 3s 2d to 3s 3d is realised for small lot 3of Cozzen's and Dovv- . ner's ; the business done, however, is trifling. In teas a line of 400 half-che.«ls of new medium congous has met with a buyer at about Is 6d in bond. A parcel of 1000 quarterbarrels of blasting powder has been quitted at somewhat under sid."
