NOTICE TO MARINERS.
; The accompanying notice to mariners, respecting tho sunken vessels City of Liiunccston and Elentheria, is published for general in- ■ formation in the Victorian " Government of the 9th inst. :—
Sunken Wrecks in Pokt Philip Bay. — Notice is hereby given that tho. lightship and buoys which were placed near the sunken steamer City of Launcoston rind the sunken hulk Elentheria, will, ou the 10th instant, bo removed. Tho masts and funriel of the steamer, and the masts of the hulk, having been taken out, the least depth of water over the highest part of either vessel is seven (7) fathoms. Chas. Considerable alarm is felt about *,he safety of Mr Alfred Fowler, who with his son sailed for Table Cape about the 19th Septembeif in the cutter Novelty, with provisions and materials to enable him 1 to erect a police hut at Table Cnpe, for which he had contracted with the Public Works department. We believe that nothing has been heard of the Novelty sinco she left the Tamar Heads. — " Cornwall Chronicle," Oct. 6.
