Woman Charged With Murder As Result Of Time-Bomb In Plane
OTTAWA. Dec 14 The Solicitor-General Mr. Antoine Rivard) announced in Quebec today that Mrs Arthur Pi!re would be charged with murder as an accomplice In the time bomb airliner crash of September 9. The charge will be the third arising from the crash of a Canadain Pacifiv Airlines plane which took 23 lives. Albert Guay was convicted last February as the master mind of the timebomb plot worked out to murder his 28-year-old wife for 10,000 dollars insurance money. Guay is due to be hanged on January 12. Genereaux Ruest, 54 - year - old crippled watchmaker and brother oi Mrs Pitre was convicted yesterday of complicity in the murder of Mrs Guay, who died in the crash. Ruest will be hanged on March 16. Mrs Pitre haa admitted shipping the time-bomb in lhe guise of an ordinary parcel. She already has been charged with intimidating a witness in her bro iler’s case and with giving perjured evidence at Ruest’s tral.
