WANGANUI SOFTBALL DRAW FOR TOMORROW
AH softball games in Wanganui tomorrow will be played on the Gonville Domain, commencing at 1.30 p.m. Big feature game of the day will be the Red Sox v. United men’s game, as both these teams, together with Giants, are unbeaten. In the ladies' championship the two first-year teams, Relax and Waverley, will play at 1.30 and Amazons, who were run-ners-up to Dodgers in the ladies’ championship last year, will meet the rapidly improving St. Mary's team. The draw, together with the allocation of grounds and umpires is as follows: Ladies' section: Relax v. Waverley, on No. 1 diamond at 1.30, Richdale and Brooks; Amazons v. St. Mary’s, on No. 2 ground at 3 p.m., K. Terrey and B. Hollenback. Men's section: Giants v. W.E. Braves, No. 3 diamond at 1.30, Trow and McPhun; Wanganui East v. United B, No. 2 diamond at 1.30, M. Hopper and E. Reu; Red Sox v. United, No. 1 diamond at 3 p.m., C. Croucher, D. Terrey and Morrison. At the conclusion of the early ladies’ game the ladies’ selector and the president of the association want the following players to meet on No. 1 diamond.
