Canada’s Brigade For Korea To Sail Next Month
OTTAWA, Oct. 28.—Canada’s special force, a brigade which was recruited for the Korean fighting, will number close to 11,000 men in its final form, a defence spokesman said today.
The spokesman said the brigade at present, split up in training groups at seven camps across Canada, numbered 9806, including 264 officers. An advance unit of 345 officers and men was already en route to Korea to prepare the way for the arrival of the main body of the brigade. Four ships have been allocated to take the brigade to Korea some time in the middle of November.
