PRESBYTERIAN “BUSY BEES” A very successful sale of work was held in the Presbyterian Hall on Wednesday by the members of St. David’s "Busy Boes.” Mrs. Bilbrough, who was their leader before her departure from Taihape, journeyed from Hunterville for the occasion. The projects on “India” that were on display were a great credit to the children and their leaders. The “Busy Bees” desire to thank all who gave and helped so generously to make the sale such a success —over £6O being raised for the missionary work of the church. The following were in charge of the various stalls: Sewing, Mrs. Bilbrough and Mrs. E. R. Fannin; cakes, Mrs. J. R. Dellow and Mrs. Barker, flowers, Mesdames D G. Gordon, Tiznrd and McCombie; produce, Mrs. G. Bolk and “Busy Bees”; sweets, Mrs. W. J. Dellow and “Busy Bees”; afternoon tea. Mesdames Harvey, Davies, M. Johnstone and Miss W. Dellow, PRESBYTERIAN VALEDICTORY GATHERING Members of St. David’s Presbyterian Church recently said farewell to one of their popular younger members, Mr. Loxley Jensen, who was superintendent of the main Sunday school. He was presented with a suitcase. He has now left for Auckland. Miss Pam. Jensen, who was a church organiser, Sunday School superintendent and Bible Class leader was presented with a dressing case. ’ These young people will be greatly missed in St. David’s, where they have given valuable service over ihe years Mr and Mrs. D. G. Gordon, Mr. *W J* Dellow and Mrs. G. Belk thanked them for their service to the church at a recent gathering. Miss Pam Jensen leaves next month to reside in Wellington.
