ROVERS CARRYOUT PRACTICAL EXERCISES IN DIFFICULT BUSH
A party of Wanganui Rovers carried out realistic and practical exercises at the week-end, when they penetrated dense bv.sh country near Atene, imagining that an aircraft had crashed and that rescue party was needed. Two Rovers, who acted as “casualties,” were carried out over extremely difficult country a;d one Rover in the rescue party collapsed through exhaustion. He had to be assisted out.
