UNITED NATIONS DAY HOLIDAY IN KOREA
TOKIO, Oct. 16 (Rec. 10 pm) The United Nations Commission for Korea announced today that the South Korean Government had decided to make next Tuesday a United Nations Day holiday It added: “In no country does the United Nations count for more and the celebrations planned will have a special meaning to the peoples of this bravely recovering land,” says a statement.—Reuter.
