FURTHER EXPLOITS OF CAPTAIN BLIGH TOLD IN NEW LIBRARY BOOK
Crawford Vaughan's “The Last of Captain Bligh’’ has recently been added to the fiction collection at the Alexander Library. The book tells that Bligh’s fame did not rest solely on the story of the Bounty and the mutiny of its crew. Justification of the mutineers is contained in the recording of the action of the people of New South Wales, who rose against Bligh’s rule as Governor, forcibly deposed him and kept him prisoner for two years.
