Rise In Values At Sale Of Opossum Skins
At the opossum skin sale held in Dunedin on Oct her 5, 131,000 skins were offered and there was a sharp rise as compared with prices recorded on September 7. Dalgety and Co. Lt fl. quote the following prices for good quality skins: Browns 12s 6d to 15s Cd; biacks 9s to 13s 6il. reds 10s to 16s 6d, greys 12s 6d Io 19s; blues 15s to 20s, slates 10s to IGs 6d; supers Is higher.
