Judgment Given For Sharemilker

Judgement was given in the Magistrate’s Court, Wanganui, by Mr S. S. Preston. S.M., on both claim and counter-laim in favour of plaintiff, Robert Jack Gerrie, sharemilker, of Maxwell, in an action which he instituted against Arthur Albert Winwood, farmer, of Rapanui.

Plaintiff claimed tor £163 4s 2d as monies owing under a verbal sharemilking agreement and defendant counter-claimed for £282 3s 9d. Judgment was given plaintiff bv Mr. Preston on the claim for £147 12s 6cl. plus costs and expenses, which gave a total of £l7O 7s. On the counterclaim plaintiff was awarded costs amounting to £l4 2s, when he received judgment on that also. Mr R. S. Withers appeared for plaintiff and Mr A. D. Brodie for defendant.
