Fell From Bicycle. 1 When Miss Joan Heslan , 9 Tipai ; Street, Wanganui East, fell from her bicycle in Guyton Street yesterday j she received slight concussion and injuries to her shoulder. She was conveyed to the Wanganui Public Hospital by ambulance. Heritage (Jains £7B. The erroneous impression had been gained that Wanganui residents living within the Palea Electorate wore not. eligible for inclusion in the Wanganui Municipal Roll and hence could not vote at the forthcoming municipal elections, said the Returning Officer, Mr. C. R. White, yesterday. All persons living within the city boundaries, provided they had been resident in the district for the last three months and in New Zealand for the last year, were eligible for enrolment, he said. The supplementary roll closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 20, Mr White stated, and all applications for enrolment must be in his hands by then. Applications received by mail later would not be accepted.
